Topical Patches For Non-Surgical Treatment Of The Cervical Herniated Disc

There are three types of patches that are used for pain related to the herniated disc. One is a local anesthetic patch called “Lidoderm”, the second is an anti inflammatory patch called the “Flector Patch” and the third type is a narcotic patch called the “Fentanyl Patch.” These can be prescribed by your physician or a pain management specialist. All of these patches treat the symptom of pain and will have no effect on the disc itself. Patches are rarely used for the typical herniated disc.
